Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 18, 2025
Presfx (“Presfx,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this store and website, including related information, content, features, tools, products, and services (the “Services”). Our store is powered by Shopify, which helps us provide the Services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase through the Services or otherwise communicate with us. If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls for the collection, processing, and disclosure of personal information.
By using the Services, you acknowledge you’ve read and understand this Privacy Policy.
Personal Information We Collect
“Personal information” means information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you. It does not include de-identified or aggregated information.
Depending on how you use the Services and where you live, we may collect:
-
Contact details: name, email, phone number, billing/shipping address.
-
Payment & transaction info: payment method details (processed by our payment providers), transaction totals, order history. (We do not store full card numbers or CVV.)
-
Account info: username, password, preferences, settings.
-
Order & usage info: items viewed, added to cart/wishlist, purchases, returns/cancellations, interactions with our site/app.
-
Device & network info: IP address, device/browser type, identifiers, and analytics about how you use the Services (including via cookies or similar tech).
-
Communications: messages you send us (support, reviews, social).
-
Fraud prevention & verification info (rare): risk flags/scores and, only if your order is flagged, a verification response you provide (e.g., a photo showing just the last 4 digits of the card used—never full card or CVV), plus order number, date, and product details shown in the verification email.
Sources of Personal Information
We collect information:
-
Directly from you (checkout, account creation, support, forms).
-
Automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you use the Services.
-
From service providers (e.g., Shopify, payment processors, logistics, analytics, customer support, fraud-prevention/verification providers).
-
From partners or other third parties as permitted by law.
How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to:
-
Provide, tailor, and improve the Services: process payments, fulfill orders, manage accounts, deliver digital downloads, remember preferences, recommend products, enable returns/exchanges.
-
Marketing & advertising: send promotional emails/SMS and show relevant ads on and off our Services (based on your activity and preferences, where permitted).
-
Security & fraud prevention: authenticate accounts, protect payments, detect/investigate potentially fraudulent or malicious activity, and run our rare order-verification flow (see “Buyer Protection & Order Verification” below).
-
Communicate with you: order updates, support, and service messages.
-
Legal/compliance: comply with law and enforce our terms/policies.
Buyer Protection & Order Verification (Rare)
To protect customers and our store, a small number of orders may be flagged by automated systems (e.g., medium/high-risk). If that happens:
-
You’ll receive an email titled “Quick verification needed for your order #[number]” from “Order Verification – Presfx.”
-
The email shows your Order #, Date, and Product and includes a secure link.
-
We will ask for a photo showing only the last 4 digits of the card used. Cover all other numbers and the CVV.
-
Please complete verification within 24 hours. Once verified, orders are auto-approved and proceed normally. Unverified orders may be canceled.
What we never ask for: your full card number, CVV, passwords, or 2FA codes.
Retention: Verification records (e.g., last-4 confirmation and decision logs) are kept for up to 180 days (or longer if required for fraud prevention, disputes, or legal obligations), then deleted or de-identified.
Your choices: If your order is flagged, you may contact us to request human review of the decision.
How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information:
-
To service providers (including Shopify, payment processors, cloud hosting, analytics, support tools, shipping/logistics, and fraud-prevention/verification vendors) who process data on our behalf under contracts.
-
To business and marketing partners to perform services, subject to their privacy notices. Where required, you can opt out of targeted advertising and certain sharing (see “Your Rights & Choices”).
-
With your direction or consent, for example to ship products or when you use social logins or widgets.
-
Within our corporate group/affiliates.
-
For legal reasons or business transfers, including compliance with law, enforcing terms, protecting rights/safety, or in connection with mergers, acquisitions, or bankruptcy.
Relationship with Shopify
The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your use of our store to operate and improve its services. Shopify may also use data (from interactions with our store and other merchants) to provide enhanced features. In those cases, Shopify is responsible for that processing and for handling related privacy rights requests.
Learn more in Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy and the Shopify Privacy Portal (exercise rights/opt-outs where available).
Children’s Data
Our Services are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of majority in your jurisdiction. If a child has provided personal information, contact us to request deletion. As of the effective date, we do not have actual knowledge that we “sell” or “share” personal information of users under 16.
Security & Retention
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Avoid sending sensitive information over unsecure channels.
We retain personal information as needed to provide the Services, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and for legitimate business purposes. See also the 180-day retention for verification records above.
Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
-
Access/Know the personal information we hold about you.
-
Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
-
Correct inaccurate personal information.
-
Portability—receive a copy of certain information.
-
Opt out of “sale”/“sharing” or targeted advertising where applicable. If you visit with Global Privacy Control enabled, we treat that as an opt-out for that browser/device (and your Shopify account, if linkable).
-
Manage marketing emails via the unsubscribe link (we’ll still send non-promotional messages about your orders or account).
You can exercise rights where indicated in the Services or by contacting us (see “Contact”). To learn how Shopify handles personal information and rights requests related to Shopify’s processing, visit https://privacy.shopify.com/en and the Shopify Privacy Portal.
We may verify your identity before fulfilling requests and, where permitted, accept authorized-agent requests with appropriate proof. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Cookies & Tracking
We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, analytics, personalization, and advertising. You can manage certain cookie preferences in your browser and, where offered, through our cookie banner or privacy settings.
International Transfers
We may transfer, store, and process personal information outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) or adequacy decisions.
Third-Party Sites
Our Services may link to third-party websites or platforms. Their privacy and security practices apply to your use of those sites. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our practices or for legal, regulatory, or operational reasons. We will post updates here, revise the “Last updated” date, and provide additional notice as required.
